User Data Deletion Policy

1. Overview

FSNK Ventures LLC, operating Hawk Send at https://www.hawksend.com, respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data and what happens when you do.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@hawksend.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Hawk Send account. We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.

Option 2: Dashboard Self-Service

If you have access to your Hawk Send dashboard, navigate to Settings and select Delete Account. This will initiate the deletion process immediately after confirmation.

Option 3: Facebook Data Deletion

If you connected your WhatsApp Business Account via Meta Embedded Signup (Facebook Login), you can also request data deletion directly through Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Click Apps and Websites in the left sidebar.
  3. Find Hawk Send and click Remove.
  4. This will notify us to delete all data associated with your Facebook-linked account.

3. What Data Is Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, we will permanently delete:

  • Account Information: Your name, email, company name, and hashed password.
  • WhatsApp Business Account Credentials: WABA ID, phone number ID, and encrypted access tokens.
  • API Keys: All API key hashes and metadata.
  • Message Logs: All outbound and inbound message records associated with your account.
  • OTP Records: All OTP verification records, including hashed codes and delivery metadata.
  • Webhook Configuration: Your webhook URL, signing secret, and delivery logs.
  • Billing Data: Usage records and subscription metadata. Note: Stripe may retain payment records independently per their own data retention policy.

4. Data Retention After Deletion

  • We aim to complete all data deletion within 30 days of a verified request.
  • Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion, after which backups are rotated and the data is permanently removed.
  • We may retain minimal data required by law for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
  • Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics purposes.

5. Confirmation

Once your data has been deleted, we will send a confirmation email to the address associated with your account (if still accessible). After deletion, you will no longer be able to log in or access any previous account data.
